Here are five books that I've read this week that was released on March 27th, 2013.

Batman Incorporated Inc #9
Writer: Grant Morrison, Artist: Chris Burnham
I'm not a fan of books that go back and forth in time.  It does have two interesting stories to tell including what happened immediately after the death of Damian while they're still battling Leviathan and reactions afterwards.  I'm not a big fan of Chris Burnham's work, overall I would give the book 3.0 out of 5.0.

East of West #1
Writer: Jonathan Hickman, Artist: Nick Dragotta
Weird awkward pacing, but still captivating enough for a 1st issue for me to want to read more.  Love the art of Nick Dragotta.  Give this a try, as I give it 4.0 out of 5.0.

Age of Ultron #3
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis, Artist: Bryan Hitch
The story still seems to be going nowhere.  Confusing as heck as how the heroes find themselves in their current situation as there's no back story.  Art though solid as usual by Bryan Hitch.   Get it only if you've already started reading the series.  Otherwise skip it, as it's a 2.5 out of 5.0 for me.

Guardians of the Galaxy #1
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis, Artist: Steve McNiven
Great first issue, especially if you've read #0.1.  Art is good even if Iron Man's new armor is not.  The art is good not spectacular.  I would highly recommend this for Rocket Raccoon alone.  4.0 out of 5.0 for me.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic #5
Writer: Katie Cook, Artist: Amy Mebberson
My daughter's favorite comic book continues with a new story.  The last story arc dragged on a little too much, so far this one has better pacing.  If you have kids or is a brony, get it.  I give it 3.5 out of 5.0.

Have you read any of the above? What are your thoughts?
