It's been a long while since DC has come up with a limited series or cross over event that wows you like they consistently use to.  Trinity War an eleven issues story arc spanning three Justice League titles and a few limited series shows that DC has not lost their touch.  What starts out as a Greek mythology revenge story ultimately evolves into so much more introducing new characters not seen yet in the "New 52" DC Universe.

There's enough twists in the books that will keep you reading each and every issue to find out just what is going on after you thought you knew.  The story starts off with Pandora, yes, of Pandora's box of Greek lore and how she came upon the box.  In the comic books though, the box looks more like a metallic skull than a box.  Just what it is and what it does is the big mystery of the series as well as who is behind it.

The great thing is they do answer the two questions in the end in Justice League #23 which leads to DC's next big thing that has been going on now, Forever Evil.  However, the only gripe I have is a bit of a disconnect between Pandora's seven sins and who and what they truly are and the reveal of the actual villains behind the box.

Overall though I would highly recommend reading it especially if you're a fan of DC comics.   The constant mash ups of Justice League members as well seeing them take on each other is pretty darn cool from a DC fan's perspective.
