The filmmakers of the various movies were very much on hand with the crowd. We got to see them talk about their movies and the festival. In addition we got to see short clips of each film. It would have been nice if the clips were longer, instead of the short teases.
The crowd was jumping with live music from an accordion player surprisingly. The meatballs was not what I was used to but enjoyed the other side dish. Both the festival organizers and everyone at the party had a great vibe like the LES the festival represents.
The festival continues for another week, with an amazing line up of movies until closing ceremonies on June 21st. A handful of movies have sold out and more are bound to, so order your tickets ahead of time. To order tickets and review the slate of films up for awards head to: http://www.lesfilmfestival.com/
