Review by Kaiah De La Tore
So here we are again Round 2.
While this is still controversial which honestly this girl doesn't understand why. Here we are again with the adaptation of the second book. For me book two was by far the best. What fascinates me about this movie is that you can take away all the kink and you have a honest romantic fairy tale. Personally I'll take the story the way it is. While people at first thought Jaime Dornan and Dakota Johnson weren't a great fit. I find they were perfectly cast. Tall dark sexy mysterious man that is Mr Dornan versus all American beauty and daughter of 2 hot celebrities Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, honestly what's not to love. The life that these two actors brought to the characters for me was fantastic.
I liked part one in that it was a good start like a good appetizer before your meal. And now we have the main course, Fifty Shades Darker, where now we find that Ana has left him and we pick up on the aftermath of the break up. In the book we follow life without and later with Mr. Grey. In the movie it is pretty much the same story. From the flowers to Jack smoking the cigarette watching from a far, the sequal film, gave us what we lacked in the first a detail account of the book. While a few things are missing, the fact is the movie gave us more of what fans begged for. The sex was hotter, though needed to be longer. But I also realize that it's a R rated movie and not a porn film. Let's not get away here they pushed the envelope and I loved it. People are being so critical about this movie and giving it horrible reviews. Watch it for yourself take your partner and get a nice kick start to your Valentine's Day. I give this movie out of 5 whip lashes 4 worth watching over and over yes over again. We eagerly await the dessert which will be Fifty Shades Freed coming Valentine's Day 2018
